New! Horn Hat Workshops are available. Participants learn about how brass instruments work, how sound is formed, and are introduced to playing brass instruments. Additionally students create horn hats and learn about the elements of design. First workshop conducted at the Hot Times Festival, Columbus, Ohio 9/2003. Great for children and adults.

Folk Music of Newcastle and Northumbria- Created one of the largest archives of Folk Music and information of Newcastle upon Tyne and Northumbria in the UK. This involved research and collection of information, tunes and lyrics, transcription and writing. See;

Brigid of Kildare- In the area of Irish Studies I have specialized in the history and life of St. Brigid of Kildare. This has produced two publications including a definitive collection of primary documents as well as a family guide to the celebration.
