to know about our State Government. I always balance my views about state lawmakers with the
thought that they are confronted with many drives into Annapolis. This is a  fate most of us in North
Linthicum do not envy. I do not support the re-location of the state capitol to North Linthicum.

    The Election
    One of our favorite games! You will find other election information in the federal and state
    sections. Know where you have to vote. Be careful to keep that little registration card which comes in the mail. Be sure that it is not returned as undeliverable by the post office! If you change addresses please immediately change addresses with the Board of Elections. Do you want to really have fun? If so sign up to watch people vote! The county is in dire need of election judges. The pay is good and with modern computer voting the work is easy. It is really fun as you get to talk to everyone in the area. A good way to keep up on local news.

      Be sure you are registered to vote!
      The Local Polling place is Overlook School but be sure to check your registration card before you go!

      Anne Arundel County was created in 1650 (Chapter 8, Acts of 1650, April Session). Named for Lady Anne Arundell (1615-1649), daughter of Thomas Arundell of Wardour, and wife of Cecilius Calvert, Second Lord Baltimore and founder of the Maryland colony.
