Guy Faux: A Squib
Author: Horace Mayhew, 1816-1872 illustrated by Percy Cruikshank fl. 1860
Publisher: Grant & Griffith, St. Paul's Church Yard, London 1849

20 Hand colored lithographic scenes connected together as a panoramic strip folding to form nine double leaves.

This wonderful children's fold out panorama book is truly silly! Already by 1849 poor Guy had been reduced to the absurd. Where did the devil go? The authors seem to use the work to continue the attack on Parliament. Fawkes assists with their effort.
