This realistic guy on horseback appears to be at a country pub. Most of our images of the celebration come from more urban settings.
One would expect that isolated or country settings would have a more conservative approach to celebration, possibly with less of the commercial
trappings of the big city and possibly also less of the contemporary political linkages. For country folk the Guy and celebration could take on their own
meanings. Note that the mannequin has a mask but none of the celebrants wear masks. The mask is of the full mask style complete with pipe.
