This is interesting -Had Fawkes blown up parliament there would have been a Catholic victory which would have lead to more rather than less absolutism and state control as in Spain and France and not less. I guess anarchists and leftists just like bombs! This image is that of a Scottish anarchist party election poster from mid 20th century or later. I am looking for the much more serious and realistic one of guy and a night sky holding a bomb about to throw and the slogan as I remember. Let me know if you find it!
