Horn Hats: Helmets Modified by the addition of Brass horns which are playable by wearer. These include: 1.Horn Hat 1-French Horn and Helmet. Horn Hat 2- Bombay taxi horn hat modified with mouthpiece and velvet fabric. 3. Pistacio hat-trumpet on helmet liner covered with nut shells. 4. Mondrian Horn Hat-Trombone, foam insulation fabric and helmet liner. 5.Stereo trumpet Napoleon hat- Two trumpets with slide trombone action on Napoleon hat. 6. Big Blow and the Bushwacker Hats: 6 hats commissioned by the band Big Blow and the Bushwackers for performance. 7. 6 hats commissioned by hot times festival Columbus Ohio 2003 Trombones Converted into hats with foam, buttons and fabric. 8. Frog hat with trumpet and frogs and swamp grasses. New! Horn Hat Workshops are available. Participants learn about how brass instruments work, how sound is formed, and are introduced to playing brass instruments. Additionally students create horn hats and learn about the elements of design. First workshop conducted at the Hot Times Festival, Columbus, Ohio 9/2003. Great for children and adults. Innovations:
